@lonestar Thanks, the idea behind it is nice and it is well executed. But as far as I understand, this is a cross-poster script to fetch JSON from last.fm and create a normal post using v1 mastodon API.I'm more looking for a platform that can do scrobbling. something that can be used as scrobbler rather than using a centralized platform.@redstar

@lutindiscret unfortunately not

@julian seems a lot of people followed it when developping I caught a couple of randoms (I totally forgot about Friendica) in the bot validator after deploying the new rules, looks like it's safe enough to push in that format to avoid filtering out the fediverse

implementing ActivityPub from scratch? Why do that though? As someone mentioned there is https://fedify.dev/ but also Fedbox itself relying on microfed. So you can rely on existing small servers and libraries https://socialdocs.org/docs/ecosystem/libraries-overview I would precisely suggest NOT to make your own solution if it's not your focus. If you are a Pinterest alternative, focus on the photo sharing experience (I naively assume that's the core) and rely on something well maintained to federate.

well there's an NSFW Lemmy and Piefed instance now <img class="not-responsive emoji" src="https://activitypub.space/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f60f.png?v=9f67c8a21b0" title="" />
