I'll put out a blog post / update here when it is ready for other folks to try out

Grazie per la condivisioneRitengo che, al di là dell'implementazione tecnica specifica toccata anche dall'articolo, l'aspetto davvero rivoluzionario stia nel come si possa spiegare a chiunque quanto il web possa tornare (tornare!!) protocollo-centrico, dalla deriva odierna dove, invece, è sostanzialmente inteso come servizio-centrico, con tutte le gravi conseguenze che stiamo pagando e che per fortuna stanno diventando oggetto di forte dibattito e protesta da ormai diverso tempo a questa parte.Grazie!Cercherò di trarne almeno due o tre lezioni per i miei studenti e (sarebbe importantissimo) anche per i miei colleghi!

@oliverandrich I'll ponder on this and see if I can come up with some starting points. The library does have a "reference server implementation"[1] but it's not entirely "minimal", because in it's smallest form an ActivityPub server needs to do quite a lot already: 1/ dispatch locally stored objects when requested2/ process remote activities targeted at local actors3/ process and dispatch client activities of local actorsOn top of these actions, a server might need to have additional behaviours attached to certain Activity+Object combinations.https://github.com/go-ap/fedbox

@wjmaggos@liberal.city I think that thinking of "anything" being boostable is both weird and expected at the same time. We hold these thoughts in our heads concurrently because it was how the web-at-large (indieweb notwithstanding) worked. What I mean is... A news article isn't a discrete resource shared on a common social web — such a construct does not exist outside of the Fediverse. ... but news articles are littered with "share via..." buttons that sort of approximate the experience.
