Like being able to see things from specific networks.. No slop instances..
In the end it is kind of already there with pixelfed, but it comes down to a how it is presented.

I only experience Pinterest via image search camping - how does a "network" work here? Is it a list of people who opt-in to be associated? -

In the end it is kind of already there with pixelfed, but it comes down to a how it is presented.
You could check out Flipboard. They have some theme and publisher-based accounts.

@jalict check out fediwall.social for look/feel. We already have the tech tools out there, the devs and providers just need support! It should not be too hard to allow an assembly of bookmarks-with-images.

Instances you’re not part of. So you can “follow” in various categorical ways. -

@johannab fediwall is like 50% there, just need boards, which is practically just multiple bookmarks!!!

Fedideck is "free and open" according to the site. But looks like they removed both their github organization and code repository.
