I think the best lesson for Americans of Jan 6 is that we should have never let it happen and that we should have never let the perpetrators go free.

@evan unfortunately, the United States has demonstrated it lacks the tools to intervene against a coup-plotting president. And the Democratic leadership has demonstrated its inability to seize the opportunity to unleash such a threat to democracy.
