On one hand: one of the few apps that support both #ActivityPub, Threadiverse groups and #RSS natively. On the other: it's the fork of an existing active web app and seems to be heavily vibe-coded. My search for a successor to #Friendica continues, I suppose. codefloe.com/catodon/catodon

@strypey I think @sutty is a fork of Jekyll with an AP plugin, not sure it that counts

Hello #activitypub people - question: Why does Mastodon selectively show only some tags under image while there are many tags in the post itself?

#ActivityPub platform feature want: similar to "no boosts" from accounts followed, do not see their replies to people on domains you have blocked.

@julian It appears as an orphan post, but may be part of a thread with multiple accounts joining in. Of course, you keep getting new 'threads' which were conjoined.

Is the state of Mastodon (and most of the fediverse?) such that user/message signing keys are still all RSA?

@swetland FEP-8b32 implementations use Ed25519:https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fep/src/branch/main/fep/8b32/fep-8b32.md#implementationsBut for HTTP signatures everyone still uses RSA because dominant implementations don't support Ed25519
