@fabio@manganiello.music support for live streams now available in #Songhive.

Spin up your instance, upload your songs, create an HTTP stream mount point, queue your songs there from the Web player, and share a link so friends can tune in to your radio.

manganiello.music/streams

Or, if you want to directly point your audio player to the direct stream:

manganiello.music/streams/fabio.mp3

If you want run it yourself: https://git.fabiomanganiello.com/songhive

Github mirror: https://github.com/blacklight/songhive

Big shout to @nemo@mas.to who has also been testing Songhive lately. He has an account @nemo@manganiello.music and a night time radio stream too

#Mastodon is full of smart, creative people posting about all kinds of interesting things, while #lemmy and #piefed can't seem to get anything off the ground but news and politics.

@oliverandrich I'll ponder on this and see if I can come up with some starting points. The library does have a "reference server implementation"[1] but it's not entirely "minimal", because in it's smallest form an ActivityPub server needs to do quite a lot already: 1/ dispatch locally stored objects when requested2/ process remote activities targeted at local actors3/ process and dispatch client activities of local actorsOn top of these actions, a server might need to have additional behaviours attached to certain Activity+Object combinations.https://github.com/go-ap/fedbox
