@venite this is mainly a specification issue/requirement. WebFinger (Mastodon uses that for @username@domain.tld identifiers) has to run in the domain root. So if you map this root WebFinger handler to one of the subfolder blogs, this will be the only one that is possible to federate. This is why we do not have a default handling for that.
