Mastodon has no algorithm that randomly show you something. Bluesky can decide what and how much you see and what you could send. They can control it, they can control you and they can see and search whatever you do. And they can sell your data for adds and political propaganda.
Also they get rich from your support.

That's the trick how they get you on those plattforms. They lure you with followers and a feeling of prominence. And then you get flooded with their propaganda and spam. With all those nice bots no one will ever know how much real followers or reach someone has. You just have to wait for the #enshitification like on evry other plattform before.
