a lot of fedi platforms are designed to be alternatives to existing mainstream platforms, which is fine. but what I wanna see is more experimental fedi platforms!! I wanna see ones that play with all sorts of new ideas about how we can socialize online!

there's so much possibility once you start thinking beyond the basic text/image/video post feed format. we could come up with some seriously funky stuff, & it would be FUN
