@MichalBryxi thank you for creating this tool! I used it to import my Strava history into @fitpub. However, a lot of my history was in the TCX format, which at the time the FitPub didn't support, but now it does. Does this tool support TCX files?

If you've been wanting to move your activity history from Strava to FitPub but dreaded dealing with the export files, I made a small browser tool that does the heavy lifting.
Drop in your Strava export files, it decompresses the .fit.gz files, splits everything into correctly-sized ZIP batches, and hands them back for upload. No install, no server, runs entirely in your browser.

@MichalBryxi Nice tool! I'd like to better understand the problems you're experiencing when importing #Strava exports directly into #FitPub. I imported my own Strava export without any issues.

At least on fitpub.social I can see following limits:1) Maximum file size: 5.0 GB
2) Maximum 1000 activities per ZIP
3) Supported formats: .fit, .gpx, .tcxMy Strava export violates all three:
1) I have *years* of activities on Strava.
2) Same, but this time more severe. 1k activities for moderately active people is not much.
3) Strava export gives some activities as `*.fit.gz` for some reason. I don't think it uses different formats than *.fit, *.gpx, *.tcx. -

The upload limit was just increased from 500 MB to 5 GB after a major rewrite of the import process. ZIP files are now streamed instead of being loaded into memory, but we'll monitor the new limit before increasing it further. A 5 GB ZIP can easily expand to 50+ GB, so we also need to protect against ZIP bombs. `*.fit.gz` has been supported since this week. We're continuing to improve the import process while keeping it as simple as possible for users.
