If you've been wanting to move your activity history from Strava to FitPub but dreaded dealing with the export files, I made a small browser tool that does the heavy lifting.

@MichalBryxi to Komoot? Really?
To such a Company?@phpmacher As a user I actively **hate** #Strava and I'm meh about #Komoot. What's the ethical (I'm assuming) controversy with the second one?

Drop in your Strava export files, it decompresses the .fit.gz files, splits everything into correctly-sized ZIP batches, and hands them back for upload. No install, no server, runs entirely in your browser.

@phpmacher Welcome to capitalism. Please take a ticket and wait for your hurt to be assigned!
No, but seriously: What is the alternative? The goal is to have the data publicly available to have a social / share space for all activity types.
That’s why I’m happy with #FitPub emerging. But until it has connector to #Coros, I’m stuck with some middle-men. No, not ever going to do that manually.

@MichalBryxi absolutely.
I only need a save place to collect my data. Sharing is not my main goal.
Long term stats.

@MichalBryxi thank you for creating this tool! I used it to import my Strava history into @fitpub. However, a lot of my history was in the TCX format, which at the time the FitPub didn't support, but now it does. Does this tool support TCX files?

@okwithmydecay Caaaan you open a ticket? Happy to take a look at it.

@MichalBryxi Sure, where can I open a ticket? I couldn't see anything relating to Strava or FitPub in your GitHub repositories.

@MichalBryxi Nice tool! I'd like to better understand the problems you're experiencing when importing #Strava exports directly into #FitPub. I imported my own Strava export without any issues.
