Today I played with the serverless provider Koyeb, as I have an interview with them tomorrow, and managed to set up a running example in under 10m:

@mariusor Quite a resource hog. Firefox recommended I stop JS on the page.

That should theoretically only run once to generate colors for the page.

@mro hopefully for anyone. The company I mentioned has a button that you can click and start an identical instance to what I have just run.

It's not enough at the moment, because the application requires a volume for persisting data and they don't offer that as a single click.

I'll keep shopping for alternatives though. The service itself is not yet in a position to be **used** by non-nerds, even though deploying it might be dead simple.

@mro I don't know how to answer this question without being annoying, frankly.

I don't develop for a "target audience", I develop for myself and hope that others will find the things I make as interesting as I do. So the answer is "probably not", or at least not anytime soon.
