I deleted my Bluesky account.
That place had become a festering pool of bots and paid operatives and just an awful place to be. It stressed me out.
After a particularly stressful series of interactions on there yesterday, today I opened it and went to my profile, and to settings. There it was in red, "Deactivate my account".
Deleting my Twitter made me sad because of the larger events that led to it. But Bluesky? I'm happy it's gone. It never was what they said it was.
