There's so much trust in other servers not reporting absolutely bogus numbers, that it's literally a surprise when someone does something like this... or that time I posted something with a timestamp one year in the future and had my post stuck at the top of "recent" in perpetuity.

It reminds me of a simpler time when we trusted things sent via protocols because malicious users wouldn't abuse it... Pretty please!
