WI is abused, no doubt about it. But, AI is fantastic for grunt work and finding hidden bugs. It's like snubbing a tractor because hand plows give you bigger muscles. It's idiotic unless it's nothing more than a hobby. Use your mind/time on better problems.

The construction of a solar plant needs a lot less than a hundred days. But whether it would be economically viable depends on the location of the data centre. Most of these will probably be built in western China where generation exceeds demand, so they'll probably just connect it to the grid.

How are all those things you just described not how neurons turn inputs into outputs? Of course a brain is greater than the sum of its parts, so it an LLM. LLM's aren't black i/o boxes either you can read the values of each individual neuron and it's connections. I still don't understand how brains can be more than just a collection of statistical predictions. It's not magic, they still function according to the mathematical world we live in.
