The info I can find on the Ruiying Z10 (the big attachment camera thing) is that it's a 1-inch stacked CMOS w/ RYYB filter array, Nothing about LOFIC.

Ah, sad. I asked because some of the Xiaomi phones themselves (AFAIK) now use a 1-inch LOFIC sensor.
...If they didn't, thats kind of perplexing. It would make the phone camera on some phones better than this dedicated attachment, in many situations.

Not just some phones, the built in camera sensors on this exact model use LOFIC.
