FOSDEM audio recordings are so bad they are basically disrespectful to the speakers.

It's been years, nothing is happening. If you ever give a talk at #FOSDEM, I highly recommend you taking care of a backup recording with your phone - so many good talks lost in inaudible bad sound.

@pl I believe it really depends on the room.
layouts of the classrooms/amphitheaters are quite difficult, and you often get people getting in and out, squeaky chairs etc... The issue might be the audio recording but the venue is what it is: overcrowded university buildings, not a recording studio with panelling...

Can you give examples? I have looked at few videos and all are good...
Please let us know through feedback so we can try and correct this (there is the audio feed from the microphone of the speaker and as backup also the microphone at the back of the room by the camera...)
