But Huawei phones are likely easier to hack because they run a new custom operating system, HarmonyOS. In August alone, Huawei patched 60 vulnerabilities in the OS, 13 of which were "high" severity.
“There’s bound to be many more mistakes in their brand-new code than in iOS and Android at this time,” a researcher said.
