Radio station this morning just broke one of the cardinal rules of radio!

Radio stations: MUST NEVER play phone-alert tones, sirens or baby crying sounds!

It's an offensive shock none of us need. Alerts makes you tense up trying to figure out which phone is ringing. If driving, sirens do the same and one can't tell if it's on the radio or around you.

Baby cries shock parents into alert (even if their babies are big now.) For non-parents it gives us the "let's get out of here'" urges.
