@dan Before, they had even e-cars. The historical problem: fuel was a lot cheaper. And WWI was driven by cheap fossile fuels. Without them, people had not been able to install killing on an industrial scale. This industry was more important than individual cars (until Ford ... another story). @katemorley

@katemorley @BlumeEvolution @Ollivdb How do you plug such solar pannel to an AC grid? If you don't connect it to a grid, what does your electrical installation looks like, and what can you do with it?

My point is that solar panels are part of a system, and it's the system overall performance that defines if and how it'll be used.

Two things:
My grandfather built a solar heater for his swimming pool that he and his son dug and built themselves. It was a grid of copper pipe along the back fence that recirculated through the pool. 1950s, not 1800s, but still... and prior to the 1965 Johnson report that laid out the risk of CO2.

You totally missed the point

Pre-evolution... happens with everything we believe to be "advanced" technology, yet it's ancient.
Resonate something, with the correct vibrations it gets hot or breaks without energy released as heat.
Photoelectric, Einstein, wasn't the first time it was realized; most all concepts were thought of already.
