Can such leadership ever be defeated?

Listen to what an Israeli soldier who had been captive in Gaza said:

He recounts:
"The Shadow Unit of the Al-Qassam Brigades organized demonstrations against the war and against Hamas itself. That was on March 25 of this year.

We, the captive Israeli soldiers, marched in the midst of those demonstrations that started in Beit Lahia in the north, moved to Beit Hanoun, then to Gaza City, and finally to Khan Younis in the south.

Those demonstrations, which seemed to be against the resistance, enchanted the Israelis. They presented them as a sign of victory. But in truth, the entire event was orchestrated by the Al-Qassam Brigades. 1/

During those protests, we, the captive Israelis, were being moved from north to south, right under the gaze of Israeli drones and intelligence, who applauded what they believed was public discontent against Hamas.

The Israeli soldier, who was released just two days ago, continues:
‘We never imagined that the plan to move us from north to south would actually work, especially with reconnaissance drones flying right above us.

What is even more astonishing is that the Al-Qassam fighters asked us to lead the demonstrations. They taught us the slogans to chant, lifted us on their shoulders, and made us shout in Arabic against the resistance, while they repeated our chants behind us.

And so, we arrived safely in Khan Younis, under the watchful eye of Israeli intelligence, which never realized who we really were.'
