@maxine my doctors today was surprising: practically everyone was wearing a mask. Like maybe 2-3 people out of 20 odd weren't

@thisismissem This is specifically at a COPD/allergy specialist, half the people are 60+ and frequently there's 1-2 people with oxygen bottles in the waiting room... you'd think I'd not be the only one to wear a mask at that point ;_;

@maxine@hachyderm.io not having been there in person to interpret tone and body language, could it be that reception was merely asking because if you're masking due to a cold/flu/covid, surfaces need to be sanitized and staff made aware...?
