Hello I noticed that under my defcon account I can sometimes see no posts at all from other users of other servers and fewer from some other users, even if they are not blocked or muted. But from a Mastodon account I can see their posts. I can imagine that many users of other servers don't see my posts either, which would explain why the reactions (likes and boosts) to my posts are quite sparse. Is this a known problem and can it be fixed?

@grobi @support ALL THE TIME. Easily 65%+ of the people I follow NEVER show up for weeks, go look, they posted 15min ago. Not in my feed they didn't. It's not a muted word think or a boost thing. It's their post.

@retech @grobi Thank you for identifying this problem! The more examples you can provide the better it will help us isolate what is going on.

It could be a network issue like a TLS version mismatch, or DNS, or something else. We can start ruling this out.

I will attach the next accounts where I notice these disturbances of the federated connections as links to this thread and if other defcon.social and/or fediverse users notice such disturbances, it would certainly be useful if they also announce this attached to this thread. It doesn't have to be screenshots like in the previous posts, with those I just wanted to show what it's about.
