[RISOLTO] Che cosa succede a Redshift?

Questo non è un problema di UZ ma ho notato che da parecchie settimane Redshift non fa più il suo lavoro, perchè segnala costantemente:

• Temperatura del colore: 0K

• Periodo: Unknown

Volevo sapere se siete a conoscenza del problema e della possibile risoluzione, immagino serva una nuova versione, forse gli sviluppatori nemmeno se ne sono accorti, peccato perché usando spesso il pc alla sera mi faceva comodo, spero si possa sistemare in qualche modo

Controlla se hai un file di configurazione nella tua home, nella cartella nascosta .config/redshift.conf.

No, il file non è presente, dovrebbe invece esserci?

Non ha funzionato, anzi usciva una finestra con degli errori, allora ho cancellato il file redshift.conf e poi disinstallato redshift dal gestore applicazioni, riavviato e reinstallato redshift ma è tutto come prima e il file redshift.conf non viene creato

Ti metto il mio .config/redshift.conf. crea questo file nella tua home/sanford/.config , copia il contenuto qui sotto avendo l'accortezza di cambiare latitudine e longitudine con quelle dove sei tu. Il problema è che geoclue2 cerca wayland e allora non funziona e occorre dirgli dove abiti tu manualmente, puoi anche cambiare anche le altre impostazioni rimuovendo il punto e virgola (Wink all'inizio della stringa che ti interessa. Avvia redshift

Mint e uzl11 usano xorg, è geoclue che cerca wayland che appunto non c'è. Io ho usato Google Maps per le coordinate https://www.coordinate-gps.it/

Ok, usando il tuo file e inserendo le mie coordinate gps adesso funziona tutto, finalmente
