So yeah Andromeda was black, despite what most modern western depictions would have you believe.</p>

It was unexpectedly refreshing to watch a movie without any white people in it. Western media is typically made with whiteness in mind: either white people are the main characters or there has to be some white self-insert character to convey how the story of POC relates to whiteness.</p>
<p dir="auto">From the expectation of white people being the default, the red hat in this post isn't so contradictory. And I'm sure a lot of people think this way.</p>
