Nah, it's a slab phone.

It hasn't been a thing direct from phone manufacturers. It's just been people flashing phones and reselling them.

It's the Signature 27 I believe. Still expensive, just not a foldable.

i'm too clumsy w phones to ever reasonably expect my phones to last beyond 1.5 years and paying $1k+ makes it hard to justify.

and i also hate google too much to ever buy a pixel -- new or used -- so that's a complete non-starter.

i'll probably end up going with lineage instead of graphene because of it.

If it's not preinstalled, I'm not buying it because there is a risk of injecting a virus along with its installation

If you need security I would recommend that you overcome your predispositions and either get an affordable phone that is supported by graphene (a pixel) or an iphone.

If you do not need security then no worries, but it would be a shame to end up in a bad situation because you felt it was a bridge too far to use a phone from a particular company.
