<p dir="auto">There are some incredibly niche communities on there but they almost never cross over to Mastodon, et al.</p>

Lemmy and piefed users agree that there isn't enough niche content, and I was just pointing out that Mastodonians could help out by occasionally cross-posting to those platforms.</p><p>But yes, discovery is an issue. I'll try to check on some communities as well.</p><p>It would also be pretty useful if us, the people outside the so-called <i>threadiverse</i> could tag multiple communities/magazines in the same post, and it would be cross-posted to all of them (it only seems to be picking the first one now afaik. <p dir="auto">You can't look at a single event or collection of events and conclude that the entire shebang is a failure.</p>
<p dir="auto">It would be like me pointing out HOA, open reg servers, and alt text arguments and concluding that mastodon is a failure.</p>
