Do what they always do, run to the next corporate platform that promises not to be like the rest. Of course they should seriously consider mastodon, but they want 1:1 functionality, which will never happen (esp., because we don't have the very algorithms they both love and hate). It's frustrating to witness.

If it were a 'decentralized' network, they could, as Jay Graber famously coined, "fork off" within the ATmosphere, but they can't, because it is not.

So, they can migrate to Mastodon.🙋‍♂️
