Re Europe: yes, we are very open and very direct. We are respectful but sometimes pretty blunt, especially when it comes to “who messed up?”. Yes, we are very quick to assign blame at the cost of inducing shame. Don’t take it personal and remember it goes both ways.

Just arrived at Brussels International Airport! It was long trip…

My companion almost got pickpocketed twice in front of Brussels Central Station.

I was so tired I slept for over 20 hours.

Just walked into a cafe in Brussels and saw this sign. It instantly made me feel safe and welcomed.
