    Hot take: The Galactic Empire is portrayed as bad mainly due to it's execution of power. The Empire's ideals of order and stability don't actually seem so bad in theory. Even the Mandolorian spin-off show supports this perspective.

    Some British army guys tried to get me to sign up when I was on a school trip years ago. This was after letting me hold an L85 assault rifle and playing call of duty against them in a tent. I rinsed them in COD and told them no chance. I am not proud of everything I done as a teenager but I am proud of that

    Hatred tends to drive people a lot harder than love in modern society. Someone who loves and is passionate at something might work on it for years and years until they get to their goal. Hate works in the opposite direction. It motivates people impulsively and years of progress in society are threatened by one, or dozens, of events. This is why I think it happened. And stopping it is entirely a group effort that hasn't been fully actualized yet.

    The really sad thing is that there's almost something to this. There are practical everyday skills that would be useful in an emergency. The problem is that these doinks have decided that being an asshole or misogynist has anything to do with felling a tree or making a fucking cottage. No one thinks fixing a car is Toxic Masculinity dipshits. You're not Toxic because you can pour concrete, you're Toxic because you put your hand up the waitress's skirt, and that has nothing to do with God damn concrete. You wanna be strong and supportive, how about being strong and supportive 365 days of the year when there isn't a zombie apocalypse or natural disaster, rather than fantasizing about one day being able to wield your skills as leverage to coerce people into having to put up with your bullshit. Get fucked, I don't want to live in the compound you've decided you're king of, I'd rather feed the local wolves.
